My prayers and thoughts are with you Pearl and your family. May your mom join your dad and other family members in God''s house. She had a good long life that many of us are not blessed with.

My sympathy to the Herpel family. So many of my childhood memories are tied to the Herpel family and Mrs. Herpel. Melinda and I spent 1/2 of our childhood at your house. Your mother was a wonderful woman. She was always so gracious to put up with bloody noses, wet clothes from sledding, etc. I remember her wonderful bread, date filled cookies, and the fun of squashing the orange button in the oleo. I also remember sitting on an old tire and eating fresh produce from the garden. Even though I haven''t seen many of you for years, the warm memories are still in my heart forever. May many memories of your mom give you joy as you grieve. Love, Tracey Olson

Dear Herpel family,
I am saddened to hear of Mrs. Herpel's passing. She was a kind & loving person. She would roll her wheelchair pass my mom's room & always speak or wave to my parents. Although my mom passed away earlier this year, they appreciated her love & concern. Kindness is a gift from the heart. May your loved one be at peace. May you treasure your memories of her.
