Bernard J. Razawich, Sr., 87, of West Wyoming, was called home by the Lord on Monday September 24, 2018 at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Exeter, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Maslousky Razawich.

Mr. Razawich was a graduate of Exeter High school. He  was a U.S. Veteran of the Korean War, serving as an Airborne Infantryman.

He was a devout catholic and a member of St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.

Prior to his retirement, he worked for 35 years for the former  Celotex Mfg. Co., Harding.

Preceding him in death were his sisters Josephine Bartoli, Julie Brennan, and Molly Mary Razawich.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, the former Mary Dimino and children, Bernard Jr. and his wife Sandy, Lake Carey, Christopher, West Wyoming, Joann Williams, New Cumberland, and Timothy, Carbondale, 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, Brother Thomas Razawich, Exeter, and sisters Eleanor Chelland, Old Forge, and Pauline Richards, York Haven, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Military funeral services will be accorded by the AMVETS Honor Guard on Saturday at 9:30am from the funeral home, followed by a  Mass of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter. The Rev. Michael Finn, will be celebrant.

Interment will be in St. Casimir's Cemetery, Pittston.

I am so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember him coming to mass all the time such a faithful and gentle man. My deepest sympathy to your mom and family. I am under the weather with my back so I am unable to attend the viewing and the mass. My prayers are with all of you. May he Rest In Peace
