Gubbiotti Funeral Home was established in 1949 by Frank A. Gubbiotti,
Frank was born on August 5, 1925 in Old Forge and attended Jenkins Twp. High School and was a graduate of St. Mary's School, Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
He graduated from American Academy of Embalming and Mortuary Research, New York. In 1947 he married the former Rose Marconi of West Pittston.
The original funeral home operated out of 19 Laflin Road, Inkerman, Pa. In 1951 the new funeral home was built at 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, Pa.
Frank A. Gubbiotti, passed away in 1991 and Rose Gubbiotti passed away in 2006.
The family owned funeral home has been in business for the past 68 years and continues in the tradition of commitment and caring by their daughter Marilyn A. Gubbiotti.
She is a graduate of Wyoming Area High School, King's College, Wilkes-Barre, and Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science, Syracuse, NY.
Marilyn is past president of Luzerne County Funeral Directors Assocation, a member of the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, where she also serves as District Governor on the Board of Directors, and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association.
