Rose Shutlock,99, formerly of Plains, passed away on September 13, 2018 at the Riverstreet Manor where she was a recent guest.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Dinunzio Champi.

She was a graduate of Pittston High School and a member of St. Joseph Morello Parish, Pittston, where she was a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Michael Shutlock, and sisters Mary Bell, Anna Somma, Columbia Marizzi and Angie Kizis; brothers Raymond, Angelo, John, Vincent, Anthony, William and Charles.


Surviving are her daughter Carol Pellegrini and her husband Richard, Plains, and sisters, Margaret Adonizio, Moosic and Violet Musto, Ct.

Funeral services are pending at a time to be announced.

Interment will be in St. Rocco's Cemetery, Pittston.
