Bernard E. Serbin, 90, of Exeter passed away Monday, Feb. 5. 2018, at Timber Ridge Health Care Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Swoyersville, he was the son of the late Michael and Anne Kachmer Serbin.
Bernie served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Exeter VFW Post 6518.
He was employed by Air Products and Chemicals for 32 years prior to his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Serbin.
Bernie is survived by his wife of 69 years the former Dorothy Mikus; sons, Bernard Serbin and wife Debra, Exeter; and Robert Serbin and wife Caryl, Ft. Meyers, Fla.; daughter Joann Trusa, Exeter; nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
Donations could be made in his honor to the Social Concerns Committee of Corpus Christi Parish 605 Luzerne Avenue West Pittston, PA 18643.
