Charles B. Burge, 73, of Wyoming, passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at his home.
Born in Avoca, he was the son of the late Frank and Anna Gable Burge.
Charles was a graduate of Pittston High School and was a member of St. Barbara Parish.
He worked as an auto mechanic for the Duryea Auto Parts, prior to his retirement.
Preceding him in death were his wife the former, Lydia Filippelli.and brothers, Robert and Edward Burge, Frank Gable and sisters Jean Hojnoski, Nora and Naomi Burge.
Surviving are his children: Ann Marie and her husband Eugene King, Dupont. and Charles J.and his wife Kerri Burge, Wyoming. Grandchildren 6 and great grandchildren:3
Also brother Eugene and his wife Lois Burge, Mountaintop and a sister Judy Burge, Pittston.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday from 6-8pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
Funeral services will be on Thursday at 9:00am from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am at St. Cecelia's Church (St. Barbara Parish), Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
The Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, will be celebrant.
Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
