Anna ( Anita) Fanti, 84, of Exeter, passed away peacefully at her home on June 6, 2016.
Born in Tunkhannock, she was the daughter of the late John and Susan Yurchsin Pivarnik.
She was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter and she attended West Pittston schools.
Anita had worked at the former Rex Shoe Factory, Exeter but for the most part she was a homemaker, taking care of her husband and children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edo Fanti in 2013 , sisters Susan Maines, and Mary Werts, and daughter in law, Mary Pambianco in 1999.
Surviving are her sons Mario ( Kelly) Fanti, Exeter and Joseph (Rita Delaney), Exeter. and granddaughter Jocelyn. Also a sister Elizabeth (Anthony) Luczak, West Pittston and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St. Exeter.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
