Mary A. Race, 93, of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday July 28, 2015 at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Fiasky Masley.
Mrs. Race attended Exeter Schools and was a member of St. Barbara Parish, Exeter.
Prior to her retirement, she had worked in local Cigar factories and also Rex Shoe Co., Exeter.
She was preceded in death by her husband George A. Race in 2003 and brothers, Andrew, John, Stephen and Michael Masley and sisters, Ann Vigilone, Helen Mariani, Margaret Moss and an infant sister who had died at birth.
Surviving are her daughters: Rosemary Modlesky, Berwick, Patricia and her husband Frank Parulis, Shavertown, sons; George R. and his wife Marcia Race, Exeter and Ronald Race, Exeter.
Grandchildren: 10 and great grandchildren, 12 , along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Friday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30am in St. Barbara Parish at St. Cecilia Church, Exeter.
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 5 until 8 pm at the funeral home.

So sorry for your loss...I took care of Mary at highland and I loved her like she was my own family and it was a honor to know her and to care for her and she'll be deeply missed!

My Dear sweet, Great Aunt Mary,you will always be in my heart. To my family sorry that we cant be there with you, know we will love you and is thinking of you and is praying for each and every one of you.
Also i keep a picture of auntie on my fridge of her smiling the wonderful smile, and dancing with and i can always hear that wonderful laugh of hers when i look at that picture of her. Love all of you very much
