Alice J. Koslosky Duliba, 75, of Exeter, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2014, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

She was born in Pittston on Aug. 19, 1938, a daughter of the late John and Julia Ondek Koslosky.

Alice graduated from Exeter High School. She went on to graduate from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in 1959. She worked 30 years at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where she was known as “Wanda” by the hospital staff.

She was a loyal member of St. Barbara’s parish, Exeter, and partook in many parish bus trips. Alice dedicated her life to patient care and spending time with her family and many close friends. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, creating flower beds, and being with her pets; most recently her faithful dog “Lucky”.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Richard and Joseph Koslosky.

Survivors include one brother, John T. Koslosky, Maryland; her aunt, Helen Parulis, Exeter; sister in law, Chris Koslosky Shimizu, Virginia; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family sends a special thank you to Dr. Charles Manganiello, Oncology center Pierce St., Kingston and to the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital 4th Floor staff for all their wonderful care and concern.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a mass of Christian Burial at St. Barbara’s Parish at St. Anthony’s of Padua Church at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 20th with Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, as celebrant.

Internment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Cedar St. Exeter.

There will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or to a hospice care facility of your choice.

We are so very sorry to hear of Alice's passing. I have known her for 31 years. She was my work "mother" when I worked with her at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Alice was truly a great person, always made me laugh and I enjoyed having her as a close friend for many years. Words cannot express how much I will miss her. RIP Alice.
