Evelyn M. Kleback, 79, of Exeter, passed away Sunday morning at home following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Exeter, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Visneski Mislan.

She was a member of St. Barbara Parish, St. Cecilia’s Church and was a graduate of St. John the Evangelish High School.

Mrs. Kleback worked in the garment industry, prior to her retirement, where she was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union..

She was also an active  member of the Cosmopolitan Club.

She was preceded in death by her son Stephen and a sister Anne Grace Woll.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Joseph Kleback, and children: Joseph and his wife Daria Kleback, Wyoming, Mark and his wife Donna Kleback, Exeter, and Carol and her husband Christopher Weale, Warminster, Pa.

Grandchildren: Angela and Joseph Kleback, and Mark and Maria Kleback, and Lindsay and Meghan Weale.

Also surviving are a brother George and his wife Terry Mislan, Exeter and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. from St. Cecilia’s Church ( St. Barbara Parish), Exeter.

Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Schooley St., Exeter.
