Robert Emil Augustine, 81, of Franklin Twp., passed away on Friday August 31, 2018 at his home, with his loving wife by his side.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Nello and Violet Ercolani Augustine.

Mr. Augustine was a faithful member of the Christian Apostolic Church, Hilldale and was graduate of Plains High School Class of 1954 and attended Wilkes-College.

He was a  veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army.

Prior to his retirement he worked for Consolidated Cigar and then became an agent for Prudential Life Insurance Co.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, the former Marlene Spisak and daughters Lisa Augustine, at home and Maria Augustine  and her husband Wayne Baxter, Dallas, a grandson, Peter Baxter, brothers Nello Augustine, and David and his wife, Donna Augustine, all of Plains. and a sister Julie and her husband John Frateschi, Syracuse, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday from 3-5pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home,LLC, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday at  10:00am at the funeral home with the Rev. David Fischi, pastor of the Christian Apostolic Church,  officiating.

Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Burial Park, Carverton.
