Ginette C. Vodzak, 89, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Manor Care, surrounded by her loving children.
Born in Paris, France on June 24th, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Tao and Lucienne Pham of Paris, France. She was a war bride, marrying her husband in Paris, France and came to this country at the age of 18.
She is proceeded in death by her loving husband, George Joseph Vodzak.
Ginette raised her four children as a seamstress. She was an animal lover, an avid gardener and she was an amazing, wonderful, loving mother who cared most about her four children. She was also a member of DuPont V.F.W. and loved country dancing with her friends.
Surviving are her children, Dorothy and her husband, Lee Beretsky, Wilkes-Barre; Christine and her husband, Leo Connors, Nanticoke; Linda James, Wilkes-Barre; son George Vodzak, Nanticoke; grandchildren, Tara and her husband Richard Garubba, Jared Beretsky, Ashley and her husband Greg Yestrumskas, Kevin Vodzak, Leo Conners and great grandchildren, Patrick and Eric Garubba.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 12th at Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
