Elmer A. Kollar, 90, of Exeter, passed away on Friday July 22, 2017 at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Plains Twp.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Andrew and Anna Medvik Kollar.
Mr. Kollar attended Swoyersville High School and went on to serve his country as a U.S. Marine during World War II.
He had worked for the Celotex Manufacturing Co., Harding as a quality control technician from 1958 until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his 8 brothers and sisters.
Surviving are his daughter Carol and her husband Gabriel Scotto-DaBusco, Exeter and a son Joseph Kollar, Clarks Summitt.
Grandchildren: Brandon Scotto-DaBusco and Sean and Eion Kollar.
Funeral services will be private on Monday July 24, 2017 at 11:30am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
The Rev. Leo McKernan will offer services at the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Mary Annunciation Cemetery, Pringle.
