Larry Garwood Dauber, 78, of Exeter passed away on Friday December 23, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Berwick, he was the son of the late Garwood and Arleal Bower Dauber.

Larry was a graduate of Berwick High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a member of St. Barbara Parish at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by L.B. Smith, Wilkes-Barre as a heavy equipement mechanic.

Larry loved spending time with his family, watching  Penguins hockey, fishing at the powder hole and family vacations at the shore and in Maine.

He was preceded in death  by his parents, his sister Joanne Beach, a niece, Diane Beach, and granddaughter Miranda Dauber.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, the former Teresa Mitarnowski and children: Jeffrey ( Tammy) Dauber, Dorrance, Pa., Richard (Florence) Dauber, Carverton, Christopher ( Millie), Mt. Carmel, and Renee (Donald)Dauber -Janis, Exeter. Also grandchildren: Kassandra Dauber, Samantha Dauber, Julianne Dauber-Farneth, Jessica Dauber, Steven Dauber, Noel Dauber, Brandon Dauber, Bryce Dauber and Donald Janis,III.
and nephew Scott Beach and his wife Carol.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial mass on Saturday January 7, 2017, for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter.
The Rev. Michael Finn, pastor, will be celebrant.

The family will greet friends at the church from 9:00am til time of the Mass.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter
