Terence Perfetto, 45, a resident of Hughestown, has taken up a new residence. He passed away on September 13, 2016 and now lives with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and other believers in Heaven. Terry loved Jesus and carried Him in his heart. Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the Kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.." Luke 18:16,17.
He was the son of Gail and Paul Johnson and Anthony Perfetto, Jr. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Giovanni and Adeline Pace; paternal grandmother, Mary Louise Johnson; paternal grandfather, Anthony Perfetto, Sr.; uncle Rudolph Pace; aunts, Rofina Johnson and Sr. Virginia Pace.
Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Joshua Johnson, aunts and uncles, Elaine and Thomas Olerta, JoAnn and George Weiss, Mary Rebecca Johnson, and Marian and John McNevin and several cousins.
He graduated from the Wilkes-Barre Area VoTech/L.I.U. # 18 in 1992. He attended Day Development Program and Cori's Place.
Terry had many interests. He liked to fish at his friend Sandy's place at Forest Lake. He caught two large bass while fishing with Dad. He also liked to fish with Uncle George. He helped Uncle Tom wash cars. TV favorites were the Waltons, Little House on the Prairie, and the Muppets. Two movie favorites were Ben Hur and the Ten Commandments. He bowled with his friend, Susan , swam in the family pool, loved to eat out, go to the the Cinemark , dabble with watercolors, and play pool with Mom and Dad. Above all, his favorite place to visit was the seashore.
Terry was very wise. When Aunt Elaine and Aunt JoAnn asked, "Whose skellies ( spaghetti) do you like better?" He always answered "Both". He was very wise in choosing Paul as his father. He experienced the warmth of his love for 34 years.
He had a quiet, gentle spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
