Our beloved mother, Marie A. Voitek, 82, of Wyoming, passed away on Saturday August 8, 2015 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in the Miners Mills section of Plains Twp., she was the daughter of the late Julio and Josephine Toloczko Barbacci.

Marie was a graduate of West Wyoming High School and continued her education at Wyoming Seminary Business College.

She and her husband David J. Voitek, Sr., were owners and founders of Voitek TV and Appliances in Exeter and Kingston.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Polish American Club, Kings College Century Club, and Wyoming Valley Country Club.

Surviving are her children: Nancy and her husband Albert Peters, Wyoming, Natalie and her husband James Fiore, Wyoming, David, Jr. and his wife Ruthann, Exeter, and Edward Voitek and his fiancee Elsie Ryan, Wyoming.

Sisters: Joan Brunges and sister in-laws Mitzi Bainbridge and Rosemary Crossman

Grandchildren: Janelle and Kailey Peters, David,III, Michael and Zachary Voitek, along with stepchildren Vanessa and Joey.

She was the happiest with her entire family around her. Her love will be missed in so many ways. “Live for today and NOT the disease!”

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 9:30am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00am at St. Francis Cabrini Church, Carverton. The Rev. James Paisley, pastor will be celebrant.

Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday from 5-8pm at the funeral home.
