Salvatore Charles Alfano, 90, of Wyoming, passed away on Thursday April 10, 2014, at the Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South , Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Harding, he was the son of the late Augustino and Pauline Mantione Alfano.

Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, the former Rose Lombano Alfano. And sons, Robert ( Mary) Alfano, and Salvatore Ross ( Josephine),  a brother Charles (Sara) Alfano and a sister Carmella Alfano, also 3 nieces and 3 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters in law Angelo and his wife Sara and Joseph and his wife Mary Alfano.

Relatives and friends may call for visitation on Sunday from 4pm until 7pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday at 9:30 am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St., Exeter.
Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY

Those attending the funeral mass are asked to  go directly to the church.
