Ann M. Gadello,89, formerly of Exeter, passed away on Thursday November 6, 2013 at her daughter Camille’s home in West Pittston.
Born in West Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Carmella Roberto Cerza.
She was a member of Corpus Christi Parish and prior to her retirement, had worked at the Consolidated Cigar Co., West Pittston and Phillips Seafood and Rex Shoe Co., in Exeter.
She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Gadello, in 1989 and brothers Carmen and Anthony Cerza and sisters, Josephine Pierontoni, Marion Fazio, Elizabeth Mozal, and Freda DeGuglielmo. Also great grandchildren, Abigail and Cito Rivera.
Surviving are her daughters Peggy Grivner and her companion Sam Gallo, Exeter and Camille and her husband Sean Carroll, West Pittston.
Brother James and his wife Iona Cerza, Portsmouth, Va., and sister Angela Balzano, West Pittston. Grandchildren; Edward and his wife Lori Grivner and Michael and his wife Marie Grivner and Ann Marie Rivera and Matthew, Kevin, and Kelly Carroll; great grandchildren, Alyssa Kintz, Aiana , Adam and Antonio Rivera and Christopher and Andrew Grivner.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday from 5- 8 pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian burial will be on Monday at 9:00am at Corpus Christi Parish in Immaculate Conception Church, 605 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston with the Msgr. John Sempa, pastor as celebrant.
The family requests that those attending the Mass on Monday go directly to the church.
Interment will be in West Pittston Cemetery.
The family extends a special thank you to Hospice of the Sacred Heart and to Dr. Stuka for all the kindness shown to Ann during her time of need.
