John R. Macosky, 86, of Exeter, passed away on Thursday October 3, 2013 at his home.
Born in Larksville, he was the son of the late John and Stella Pluta Macosky.
John attended Edwardsville schools and was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served during WWII.
He last was employed as a bus driver for the Luzerne County Transportation Authority.
He was a member of the Kingston Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Amalgamated Transit Union.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, the former Dolores Margavage, and daughter Joyce and her husband John Delmar, Harding. grandson Matthew Delmar and his wife Brianne, Hanover Twp.
Also 3 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; sisters: Helen Leedock, Courtdale, Betty and her husband John Kupstas, Plains, Eleanor and her husband Bernard Budrewicz, Edwardsville, Geraldine Fetchen, N.J., and a brother Gerarld ( Jerry) and his wife Paula Macosky, Newport Twp. along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment was held privately at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
