Michael P. Mancos, 45, of West Pittston, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 4, 2013 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Born in Kingston, he was the son of Michael J. Mancos, Wyoming  and the late Margaret Manganello Mancos .

Michael was a 1986 graduate of Pittston High School and earned his Masters degree in Aerospace engineering from Penn State University.
He was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot as an engineer.

Michael also was a former member of the Montage Ski Area Ski Patrol.

Surviving in addition to his father Michael, Wyoming is a sister Debra Senczakowicz, Shavertown,
Also Uncle and Aunt, Edward and Marilyn Litwin, Harding and cousins Edward and his wife Nicole Litwin and their son Joshua, Pittston and Brian and his wife Rosemary Litwin and their daughter, Julia, Plains.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 am at St. Barbara Parish in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 28 Memorial St. Exeter.
Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday from 6:00-8:00pm. at the funeral home.
