Zenobia  ( Helen) Ali, 88, of Brooklyn, N.Y. passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Maimonides Hospital, Brooklyn.

Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Alphonso and Marianne Grano Gallipani.

She was a homemaker all her life.

Preceding her in death were her son Michael Lau, a daughter Lorraine Watson and brothers, Dominick, Joseph, Frank, and Michael and sisters Teresa Gallipani and Julie Gicola.

Surviving are her husband of 34 years, Chumagali Ali, and daughters Linda  (Michael) Graves, Las Vegas, Nev., Irene Valenti, Kingston, Susan (Carmine) Lupio, West Pittston, Eileen ( Roger) Malcolm, Anaheim, Ca.and a daughter in law Karen Lau, Kingston. Also surviving are a brother John Gallipani, Stanton Island, N.Y. and a sister LuLu Pietrosante, Stanton Island, N.Y

17 Grandchildren, and  30 great grandchildren  along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00am from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

Services will continue at the First Assembly of God Church, 424 Stanton St., Wilkes-Barre.

Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Twp.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 2:00pm until 4pm  and again from 6:00 until 8:00pm  on Friday  at the funeral home.
