Sean J. Rogers, 48, of Ashley, passed away unexpectedly on November 3, 2017.
Born on July 23, 1969, in South Amboy, N.J., Sean spent most of his life living in Pittston, Pa.
He was the son of Ann Marie Morgan, Ashley and the late Kevin A. Rogers, Sr.
Sean was a 1988 graduate of Pittston Area High School. Sean worked as a Certified Nursing Aid for Timber Ridge Healthcare Center, which was the former Valley Crest Nursing Home.
With Sean's love for travel and the outdoors, he then received his CDL license and worked on the road for many years. It was when he was traveling that he found his love for lighthouses. While traveling the east coast, Sean would stop at every known lighthouse along his way. His favorite, being Cape Hatteras located in North Carolina.
Sean was a very kind soul with a heart of gold. His love for life started, circled around and remained devoted to his "Annie", his Mom, who misses him dearly. Sean would go above and beyond for anyone, even for total strangers just to get a smile on their face. He truly enjoyed making people happy. Since a very young age, Sean also had a love for dogs. He left behind his best furry friend, Cash, whom he adored tremendously.
He was preceded in death by his brother Matthew Rogers in January 2017.
Surviving in addition to his mother Ann Marie Morgan, are a brother Kevin A., Jr. and his wife Betty Ann Rogers, Exeter, and sisters Maureen and her husband John Frutchey, Ashley, and Kelly DeLeo, Exeter, along with numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.
There will be a gathering of family and friends for a memorial visitation on Saturday November 25, 2017 from 1:00 until 3:00pm at the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.

I surely hope you receive this message since its been over a year.........I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Sean J Rogers......although its been well over a year since he has passed....(I just learned of this by using *Google* since I haven't heard from him for awhile......it made me wonder...due to the fact Sean would always make an effort to send *holiday greetings* on every holiday or just say *Hello* on occasion to me and my Mom (who passed away December 17th, 2018)..........
I knew Sean while he worked for Allied home health care.....he was our *steady aid* (that took great care of my Dad, James (who passed away on March 23rd, 2008....he had MS for many years and went through alot of struggles with his disease......Sean was truly a *great aid*...very *thankful* to have met him and have him to care for my Dad)....he always made my Dad laugh....smile.....cry (in *happy tears* that is)....he was a *blessing* and felt like a *part of my family*....(we even bought him and my Dad *camouflage matching shirts* to wear.....Sean loved his shirt we gave him as a Christmas present and I know he treasured it...I remember at my Dad's wake...they both had the same shirts on..........
My deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers go out to his Mom.....and ...family members.....hope this message reaches his family........I am so sorry and want you guys to know that he was a *special person* that took *great care* of my Dad while he went through his struggles with the complications he endured having MS. I am happy to have known him and for his *great friendship*...*compassion*....and..*awesome care* while taking care of my Dad.....Thank you
