Leona B. Gibblets, 88, formerly of Exeter, passed away on January 14, 2014 at the Highland Manor Nursing Home, Exeter.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna Arzubauskas Gibblets.
Prior to her retirement, Leona had worked at the silk mills and then Consolidated Cigar Co.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stanley and George Gibblets and sisters Connie Kasalunis, Anna Labashousky, Marie Gudaitis, and Nellie Jacewicz.
Surviving are her nieces and caregivers Georgianne and her husband Richard Moran, Easton, and Gloria and her husband William Lawler, Exeter, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass is scheduled for May 2, 2015 at 11:00am at St. John the Evangelist Church, William St., Pittston.
Interment will be in St. John the Slovak Cemetery, Schooley St. , Exeter.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter.
