Miriam Loretta Brown (nee Huster), age 101, a lifetime resident of Baltimore, passed on August 10, 2018.
She was born on November 7, 1916, in Baltimore, to the late Loretta and Henry Huster. She dedicated herself as a loving homemaker, wife, and mom, and also worked for the State of Maryland as a medical records clerk. She was a member of St. Jane Frances Church, where she did volunteer work, and the St. Jane Frances Sodality, and always enjoyed helping others.
Along with her parents, Miriam is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years: Wallace Leo Brown, Sr., who passed in 1977; and her two sisters: Dorothea Schuster and Ruth Longerbeam.
She is survived by her three devoted sons: Wallace L. Brown, Jr. and his wife Laurel, of Taneytown; Thomas C. Brown and his wife Debra, of Suffolk, Virginia; and Steven E. Brown and his wife Kathy, of Catonsville; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM, and on Thursday morning from 10 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Thursday at 11:30 AM in St. Jane Frances Church. Her interment will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery. Feel free to express your condolences below as well.
