Thelma Lee Mudd, age 79, a lifetime resident of Orchard Beach, passed away at her home on July 3, 2018.
She was born on May 3, 1939, in Orchard Beach, to the late Patricia and Dennis Snyder. After graduating from St. Mary’s Star of the Sea High School, she worked various jobs throughout the years, until her retirement from the Anne Arundel County Public School System. She was an active member of the Pascal Senior Center, and enjoyed travelling, spending time with her family, and making cookies and crocheting items for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husbands William Mattoon and Thomas Goodman; and her brothers Wayne and Denny Snyder.
She is survived by her husband Louis Mudd; her daughter Pam Bromwell; her two sons: Randy Mattoon and Tim Mattoon; her brother Walt Snyder; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM, at which time the procession will leave the funeral home to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 AM, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating. Her burial will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park at approximately 11:30 AM. Feel free to express your condolences below as well.
