Marie Patricia Mahon, “Pat” age 77, a resident of Magnolia, Delaware, and previously of Pasadena, passed on May 22, 2018.
She was born on November 13, 1940, in Baltimore, to the late Marie and Edward Finneran. She worked as a supervisor for the State of Maryland’s Department of Medicaid for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Delaware YWCA, and during her free time she enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, and of course spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Pat is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years: Thomas Joseph Mahon, Sr.; and four of her sons: John Edward, Timothy Patrick, Carl Christopher, and William Bryan Mahon.
She is survived by her three devoted sons: Thomas Joseph Mahon, Jr., of Magnolia, Delaware, Michael Martin Mahon, and Gregory Paul Mahon, both of Pasadena; her loving daughter Mary Gertrude Mahon, of Longneck, Delaware; her sister Eileen C. Tittiger and her husband Edward, of Landsdowne; 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Friday from 9 until 10 AM, at which time her funeral service will begin, with Deacon Mike Dodge officiating.
