John Francis Kazmierski, Sr., age 85, a resident of Pasadena for 42 years, and previously of Glen Burnie, passed on May 11, 2018.
He was born on February 18, 1933, in Baltimore, to the late Josephine and Edward Kazmierski, Sr. After graduating from Our Lady of Good Council High School, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, serving during the Korean conflict. Upon his return from the military he worked as a chemical analyst for the Proctor and Gamble Company until his retirement after 36 years of service. During his free time he enjoyed hunting, crabbing, fishing, golf, and bowling.
Along with his parents, John is preceded in death by his two brothers: Raymond Kazmierski and Edward Kazmierski, Jr.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years: Florence Irene Kazmierski; his two devoted sons: John F. Kazmierski, Jr., of Hampstead, and Steven J. Kazmierski, of Pasadena; his loving daughter Gail Bohle, of Pasadena; three grandsons: John Lester Kazmierski, Kevin J. Kazmierski, both of Pasadena, and Sean M. Kazmierski, of Hampstead; his granddaughter Erika Renee Bohle, of Pasadena; and two great grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Another hour of visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11 AM, at which time his funeral service will begin. His interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery at 12 Noon.
