He also worked as a machinist for the Kaydon Company for 12 years. He was a member of St. Jane Frances Church, and the "Just Country Dance Club" for 15 years. During his free time he also enjoyed reading, golf, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his brother Charles Marks, and his step-brother Jonny Smallwood.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years: Patricia A. Marks; two sons: Raymond Marks, III, of Arnold, and Bryan Marks, of Marriottsville; two daughters: Tracy Kirkland, of Severn, and Robin Vacek, of Marriottsville; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM.
