Freda Ann Daffron, age 79, a resident of Severn for 40 years, and previously of Virginia, passed on March 3, 2017 at Hospice of the Chesapeake.
She was born on February 26, 1938, in Berryville, Virginia, to the late Frances M. and Bernard C. Hummer. She loved playing cards, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.
Along with her parents, Freda is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years: Richard Joseph Daffron; and her sister Patricia Arthur.
She is survived by her three daughters: Stacy Sutton and her husband Nicholas, Michele Daffron, and adopted daughter Marianne Cullen; her son Mark B. Hedrick and his wife Claudia; six grandchildren: Victoria Plummer, Alexandra Sutton, Gabrielle Pugh, Megan Sacilowski, Johnathan Spicknal, and Bryan Hedrick; three great grandchildren: Emma Hedrick, Noah Spicknal, and Matthew Sacilowski; and three sisters: Delores Everhart, Frances Herbert, and Betty Bernard.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, March 13, 2017, at the Elk's Lodge, 878 Stevenson Rd, Severn, 21144 at 11 AM.
