Dorothy Jeanne Herb, age 93, a resident of Glen Burnie for 18 years, and previously of Riviera Beach, passed on February 15, 2017 at Peartree House.
She was born on January 26, 1924, in Baltimore, to the late Anna Marie and William Edward Hubbard. A graduate of Seton High School, she worked as a school bus driver. She loved Ocean City and West Virginia, and spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, Jeanne is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years: Albert W. Herb, Sr.; her son Albert W. Herb, Jr.; three brothers: Edward, George, and Robert Hubbard; and her great granddaughter Brittany Burdeaux.
She is survived by two daughters: Joyce Smoot and her husband Gary, and Madonna Copper and her husband Jim, all of Pasadena; her two sons: Pat Herb, Sr. and his wife Laura, of Glen Burnie, and Doug Herb, Sr. and his wife Kathy, of Pasadena; her daughter in law Bunny Herb, of Glen Burnie; twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
She will be buried at Maryland Veterans Cemetery with her husband with a private family service. Feel free to leave your condolences below.

Jeanne, you made me smile, every day! Your sense of humor kept us all laughing at work and your strong love of your family was evident as we spent the last of your days with you at Peartree House. You will be missed by all and we are all hoping you rest in peace with the husband that you so wanted to join. Our prayers and deepest sympathy to each of your loving family members as they grieve your loss, and laugh at your great sense of humor. You were so loved!!

I am sorry about your dear Grandmother. May these promises from the Bible comfort and strengthen you in this difficult time. I have great memories of great times with Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Al and the rest of the Herb gang. The Herb "Pig Out" was my favorite!
The Herb family is in my thoughts and prayers and I am sending you all my love. May Aunt Jeanne rest in peace.
