Christine Marie Betz, (nee Yesker) age 72, a resident of Glen Burnie for 41 years, and previously of Riviera Beach, passed on August 31, 2016.
She was born on May 20, 1944, in Cheltenham, England, to Paul J. and Hilda G. Yesker (Pam). She enjoyed bingo, shopping, and going to the casinos.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years: Richard Betz; her daughter Jackie Knight, of Pasadena; her son Rick Betz and his wife Melanie, of Glen Burnie; two granddaughters: Samantha and Sophie Betz; and three grandsons: Paul and Jesse Knight, and Rick Betz, Jr.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, 21122 on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin on Friday at 12:30 PM at the funeral home, with Rev. Milt Zahn officiating. Her burial will follow in Loudon Park Cemetery. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked at Montgomery Ward with Christine's mother, Pam. Through numerous events and times at Wards our paths would cross. I distinctly remember Chistine had the same laugh as her mother, and they did like to laugh and make you laugh also. I pray your fond memories will carry you through this difficult time. Peace to the Betz family.

I personally didn't know Miss Chris but, her daughter ( Jackie Knight ) often spoke about her Mom and what a great person she was with a big heart. My deepest condolences to the Betz & Knight family for the loss of your Mom, Wife, & Grandmother. Love Cindy
