Cleo David Lee, age 70, a resident of Clearwater Beach for 15 years, and formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on April 20, 2016 after suffering from a stroke within the past month.
He was born on November 21, 1945, in Perry, Florida, to the late Idell and Cleo Lee. He worked in a variety of positions; as a farmer, construction helper, roofer, dairy worker, security guard, and painter. During his free time he enjoyed fishing and gardening. He also donated his time as an usher and greeter at the Lansdowne Worship Center, where he was a member.
Along with his parents, David is preceded in death by his two brothers: Lawton and Johnny Frank Lee; and his sister Selena Watkins.
He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 25 years: Nancy C. Lee; his three sisters: Violet Hoover, of Riverview, Florida, Mary Helen Gill, of Lithia, Florida, and Nina Chisgar, of Symerna, Tennessee; his brother Ralph Lee, of Plant City, Florida; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. His Memorial Service will begin on Saturday at 11 AM in the Lansdowne Worship Center, 2130 Smith Avenue, 21227, with Pastor Chris Music officiating.
