Ronald Barry White, age 84, a resident of Pasadena, passed away on April 8, 2016 after a lengthy illness.
He was born on March 29, 1932, in Baltimore, to the late Isoline and William White. He was a member of the Baltimore City Fire Department, where he served as a fire fighter for many years until his retirement. He was a big fan of the Baltimore Colts, and during his free time he enjoyed crabbing, fishing, trips to Ocean City, and of course, spending time with his family and friends.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years: Thelma (nee Solan) White; his loving daughter Charlene Ann Matthews; his devoted granddaughter Sara Elizabeth Zawadski and her husband Andy; and his two precious great grandchildren Ava and Lila Zawadski; and many nieces and nephews.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 AM to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. His burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation at www.pdf.org, and feel free to express your condolences here as well.

My heart goes out to Ms. Thelma, Charlene, Sara, Andy, Ava and Lila. You all were truly loved by Mr. Ron and were his world. I am truly Blessed to have had the honor of knowing him and having him in my life. He was the true meaning of what Love was meant to be. Such a gentle soul was he and always caring for others. Knowing he is at peace and with God in His Heavenly Kingdom is what makes me feel such an inner peace and contentment. I know that his work is not done in Heaven as he will be watching over us all. Thank you Mr. Ron for all the memories and you will be surely missed by all. Love you always, Fran <3

We will truly miss our neighbor and friend in Bayside Beach. You could always count on a friendly smile and hello from Ron every time you saw him on the street. We are thankful to have Charlene and Thelma close nearby and will always be here for you both.
