Paul William Reeves, Sr., "Pop" age 94, a longtime resident of Pasadena, passed away on March 19, 2016.
He was born on July 5, 1921, in Baltimore, to the late Augusta and Willard Reeves. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy, serving in WWII until 1944. He retired having worked as an operating engineer for local #37.
Along with his parents, Pop is preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years: Gladys T. Reeves.
He is the beloved father of Joseph Kurtz, Sr., Ronald Kurtz, Sr., Wayne Becraft, Cynthia Weaver, Paulette Wilson, and Paul Reeves; and loving grandfather of 17 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. His funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home, with his burial to follow, with military honors, in Loudon Park Cemetery. Cynthia and all the family, our condolences to all of you. Your Dad was a great man. He loved all of you. He just wanted to go to heaven to see your Mom . He lived a long and happy life. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
