Pauline Kolb Beckham (Polly) went to heaven on March 9 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on March 23, 1919 in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. She moved to Riviera Beach in 1943 when she married her husband, Dewey. They started a small excavation company. Dewey died in 1959 after a long illness leaving her with 3 small children. She had to return to the workforce and spent 20 years as a secretary at Westinghouse. She volunteered at St Jane Frances Church from its inception. In the 50's She helped clean the small church, ran the cake table at the bazaars and in the 80's she counted the church collection after her retirement. She also volunteered at Meals on Wheels and North Arundel Hospital.
She moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida in 2003 and lived with her daughter Kathy and her husband, Tony Reina. She is also survived by her daughter Betty, and husband Mark Simpson, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Tom (wife, Sharon).
Visitation will be at Gonce Funeral Home in Riviera Beach on Monday, March 14 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Jane Frances. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church 2330 SE Mariposa Avenue or Treasure Coast Hospice 5000 Dunn Rd., Ft. Pierce, Fla. 34981

Pauline,
I know all here on earth all will miss you but I do believe that heaven will be a much more exciting place as soon as you arrive.
To Betty Ann and Kathy; I hope you and your families know what I great mom you had and will keep all memories of her in your heart.
