Angela Frances Marinelli, age 72, a resident of Pasadena for 49 years, passed on March 11, 2015 at her home after suffering from cancer for three years.
She was born on March 18, 1942, in Baltimore, to the late Anna and Frank Danna. After attending Sacred Heart of Jesus Elementary School, she graduated from St. Michael's Business School in Baltimore. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Roman Catholic Church for 37 years and the Church of the Good Shepherd for 12 years. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed going to Mass and saying her daily prayers; loved spending time with family and friends (she was a friend and mother to everyone she met!); enjoyed bowling, sewing Christmas stockings, crafts, gardening, reading, decorating her home, watching golf, ice skating and singing/dancing programs on TV, and, of course, caring for her dog.
Along with her parents, Angela is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years: Michael Anthony Marinelli, Sr.
She is survived by her three sons: Michael A. Marinelli, Jr., and Gerard F. Marinelli, Sr and his wife Tammy, all of Glen Burnie, and William Marinelli and his wife Dana, of Middletown, DE; her two daughters: Mary Rogers and her husband Mike, of Pasadena, and Anna Marie Marinelli of Glen Burnie; 24 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday in the Church of the Good Shepherd at 10 AM. Her interment will follow in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery.
