Leona "Ruthie" Tayman, 71, of Glen Burnie, MD, passed away on March 9. She was born August 12, 1944 in MD to the late Roy and Helen Schimminger. She worked for Baltimore Box Company for over 25 years. She loved music and played the Bass, she enjoyed shooting a bow and arrow and all of her friends knew her as "Barefoot Ruthie". She is survived by her sons Paulie Tayman and Dougie Tayman, along with her brother Robert Schimminger and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings Phillip Schimminger, Ann Schimminger, and Susan Robinson. Viewing will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM, Funeral Service from 1 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday March 13th. To The Tayman and Schimminger Familys,
It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find confort in knowing you were a special part of a well-lived life with Ruthie as thay would call her Bare Footed Ruthie and always a with smile.
