She was born on November 4, 1943, in Baltimore, to the late Edward and Emma Bohle Connelly. A graduate of Glen Burnie High School, she raised two daughters, and enjoyed gardening, the beach, reading, skiing, and of course, spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 30 years: Bob Lemire.
Carol is survived by her two daughters: Renee Carnochan and her husband Mike, of Greensboro, Maryland, and Marcy Single and her husband Dave, of Loxahatchee, Florida; and her six grandchildren: Emily and Mailly Carnochan, and Gage, Lucy, Maxx, and Cole Single.
Family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday in St. Jane Frances Church, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating. (Time of Mass is pending) Her burial will follow in Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Crownsville, and feel free to express your condolences here as well.

I'm a shamed to admit that I cringe when a "mass" is involved whether it's a baptism, wedding or funeral. I don't know why that is other than knowing an hour will be spent in a formal catholic setting. But today was different. Within the first few moments, I knew that Mrs. Carol deserved nothing short of a full, formal mass with the beautiful music and prayer to honor her life and her dedication to the Catholic Church. I am so proud of Renee and Marcy for the love and care they gave their mom and for respecting her every last wish.
I am humbled to have been a witness of the most glorious display of love and dedication this morning. My only hope is that everyone's passing is honored in the same reflection of their heart, just as Mrs. Carol Lemire's was honored today.
Well done by Renee, Marcy, Gonce's and St. Jane Francis Church.
All my love and faith,
Joanne
