Mary Jane Wagner, age 68, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, passed on September 3, 2014 at her home.
She was born on January 3, 1946, in Baltimore, to the late Virginia and Leonard Ordakowski. After high school, she worked as an administrative assistant for the US Department of Defense. She was fond of sitting on her back porch and enjoying the warm weather, and of course, spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandson Jeffrey Giles.
Jane is survived by her daughter Karen Cole and her husband David, of Linthicum; her two sons: Michael Wagner and his wife Jena; and Mark Wagner, all of Pasadena; her brother Paul Ordakowski, of Millersville; her sister Lorraine Gerard, of Pasadena, and five grandchildren.
Family requests friends visit on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday in St. Jane Frances Church, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating. Those who wish may donate to the Hospice of the Chesapeake at www.hospicechesapeake.org or to the American Cancer Society, and feel free to express your condolences here as well.

Deepest sorrows in hearing the passing of our sweet cousin. May she rest in peace and free of pain and whole again in heaven. Another Angel joins the heavenly choir.

Jane and I met back in the late 1960s while working at the Dept. of Defense and have remained friends ever since. We didn't talk every day, every week or every month but when we did, we'd catch up on what was happening in our lives. I know her family meant the world to her! Just speaking to her since she became ill, she spoke so highly of her family...how being with them, especially the grandchildren, kept her mind off of her illness. Her daughter Karen and sons Michael and Mark, her sister Lorraine and brother Paul, and their families, gave her so much happiness and joy! She talked about how much her daughter-in-law Jena had helped her so much since she had become ill!! I will miss you so much Jane!! Until we meet again!!!!! Love, Nancy
