Dorothy Helen Norris, “Dotsie”, age 85, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on December 10, 2013 at Harbor Hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was born on December 3, 1928, in Baltimore, to the late Edna and Henry Squires. After graduating from Glen Burnie High School, she married and raised four children. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, houseplants, and watching the game show network.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Charles “Buster” Squires; and two sisters: Margaret Nolan and Naomi Bothe.
Dotsie is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years: Elmer H. Norris; two sons: Michael Norris and his wife Carol, and Danny Norris, both of Pasadena; two daughters: Lollis Powell and her husband Bob, of Pasadena, and Nancy Shepke and her husband Talbert, of Carroll County; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Family requests friends visit on Friday from 3 to 5 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, where her funeral service will be held immediately following at 5 PM. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
