Catherine Agnes Hagins, “Kitty”, age 83, a resident of Pasadena for 58 years, and previously of South Baltimore, died on November 20, 2013 at her son’s home in Frostburg.
She was born on December 13, 1929, in South Baltimore, to the late Margaret and Vincent Reed. After graduating from high school, she worked for the C&P Telephone Company as a switchboard operator. A member of the ladies auxiliary, who served as treasurer, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 37 years: Jack Hagins “Hook”.
She is survived by her three sons: Jack, Jr, of Federalsburg, Terry, of Jessup, and Robby, of Frostburg; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Family requests friends visit on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, where her funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday. After the service, the funeral procession will leave for the committal service in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, where she will be buried with her husband.
