Mary Evelyn Balint, age 89, a resident of Riviera Beach for over 56 years, died on June 14, 2013 at the Tate Hospice House after a five month illness.
She was born on September 14, 1923, in Baltimore, to the late Grace and Charles Haynie. After high school, she continued her studies in college, and went on to work for C&P Telephone Company for 34 years. A member of the Eastern Star, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years: Frank Balint, and her sister Audrey Rose Hagins.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Her funeral service will commence at 10 AM on Thursday at the funeral home. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.

Aunt Evelyn you were a smart lady, a kind lady and a valued family member.
You were funny like all the Haynie ladies and you will dearly be missed by all you knew! Peace be with you and joy be your path as you are greeted in heaven by your loved ones who are waiting!

Aunt Ev, We will miss you so much. We always loved to visit when we came to MD. You always shared your vegetable crab soup that was always amazing. I loved how happy it would make you to have photos given to you even tho you couldn't see th well.
We wish you peace in the next adventure in your life.
