Annette L. Peacock, age 53, a resident of Halethorpe for 26 years, and formerly of Glen Burnie, died at her home on May 26, 2013 after a nine year illness.
She was born on December 5, 1959, in Baltimore, to the late Mary and Bernard Travers. After graduating from Northeast High School in Pasadena, she worked most recently as a customer service representative for the Home Depot Corporation. Annette enjoyed the simple things in life: going to the movies, visiting Myrtle Beach and just spending time with her family.
Annette is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years: Robert (Bob) Peacock; her two loving daughters: Autumn Travers Santos, of Elkton, and Emily Peacock, of Halethorpe; two brothers: Bernard Travers, of Oxnard, California, and Anthony Travers, of Glen Burnie; two sisters: Maria Kelly, of Glen Burnie, and Chrissy Parks, of Brooklyn; and her one grandchild.
Visitation will be held at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Saturday from 3 to 5 PM and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 7:30 PM, during the evening visitation. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.

My dear Peacock family!
I know your hearts are broken...as is mine...but, boy, do we have the memories! And it is those memories that will help mend our hearts and pull us through this time of sadness.
I know she livened up many lives...mine included...and I am both happy and fortunate to have her as a best friend! I will never be able to put into words how much I will miss my "peep", but I feel just a bit comforted knowing that there's another angel watching over us!
Luv ya, Peacocks!

Whenever, I heard Annette was going to be at a family gathering, I looked forward to the joy of laughter. She was resilient and used that wit to keep moving forward through life. Even when she was describing hitting a deer with a brand new car, she described the deer going over the windshield in a way that made the whole room laugh until they cried.
She had love for everyone she met. Most of all she loved her children, grandchildren and Robert. When things get tough, I hope they draw strength from her tough love advice.
Annette was a kind and loyal friend. We will all miss her very much.
