Hurman, Albert T.
On December 16, 2012, Albert T. Hurman, beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Hranicka) Hurman, passed at the age of 86. He was the loving father of Tim and his wife Nancy, Midge Friia, Cathy Devilbiss and her husband Rod, Jim and his wife Shawn, and John Hurman; dear brother of Charles Hurman, Charlotte Flood, and the late Helen Bilenki and John Hurman; devoted brother in law of Lo and her husband Tony Bilenki, and Doris Hurman; and proud grandfather of Tim, Tom, Amanda, Emma, and Abby Hurman, and Jamie Cougnet, Paula Loane, and Molly Zublick; and nine great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in St. Athanasius Church. His burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. Those who wish may donate to St. Athanasius Church or to the Little Sisters of the Poor, and you may also express your condolences here as well.

Albert T. Hurman, 86, a resident of Pasadena for 12 years, and formerly born and raised in Curtis Bay, died of cancer on December 16, 2012 at his home.
He was born on September 27, 1926, in Baltimore, to the late Frances (nee Jefferson) and Sam Hurman. After high school, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps, serving from 1943 to 1946. He owned his own tavern/restaurant for many years. He belonged to the Curtis Bay Athletic Club, and enjoyed crabs, baseball, and football.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 56 years: Charlotte (Hranicka) Hurman; his sister Helen Bilenki, and his brother John Hurman.
He is survived by three sons: Tim and his wife Nancy, Jim and his wife Shawn, and John Hurman; two daughters: Midge Friia, and Cathy Devilbiss and her husband Rod; his brother Charles, and sister Charlotte Flood; two sisters in law: Lo and her husband Tony Bilenki, and Doris Hurman; eight grandchildren: Tim, Tom, Amanda, Emma, and Abby Hurman, and Jamie Cougnet, Paula Loane, and Molly Zublick; and nine great grandchildren.
