Carolyn Marie Rye, age 41, a resident of Halethorpe for three years, died of natural causes on August 14, 2012 at her home.
She was born on December 28, 1970, in Annapolis, to Betty Vermillion and the late Jimmy Rye. After high school, she became a homemaker and mother who enjoyed cooking, reading, crossword puzzles, board games and cards, playing the lottery, the Ravens, Karaoke, partying, and of course, spending time with her children and loved ones.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her brother Bobby Rye, her grandparents Russell and Helen Vermillion, and her great grandmother Mary Katlic.
She is survived by her loving children: Charlie and Chelsea Dialtus; their father Charles Dialtus; her grandson Chance Stewart, all of Glen Burnie; her mom Betty Vermillion, of Pasadena; step dad George Levandowski, of Glen Burnie; her sister Chrissy Pilkerton, of Glen Burnie; her brother Kenny Pilkerton, of Baltimore; her significant other of 11 years: Todd Fisher, of Baltimore; and three step children: Amanda, Bethany, and Chelsey Fisher, all of Baltimore.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 6 to 7 PM. Her memorial service will immediately follow at 7 PM, with Pastor Angel Shannon officiating. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
