Thomas Allen Gray, age 63, a resident of Pasadena for 27 years, died of heart disease on August 9, 2012 at his home.
He was born on November 23, 1948, in Baltimore, to the late Lenora Margaret and Rudolph Henry Gray. After graduating from Howard High School, then enlisted in the US Navy, serving in the Viet Nam era from 1968 until 1973. For more than 15 years he worked as a forklift operator for Atlas Container Corporation, and enjoyed listening to music, relaxing, driving to the country, and watching old western movies.
He is survived by his two daughters: Kimberly Churchill, of Virginia Beach, and Valerie Gray, of Roanoke, Virginia; his brother Joseph Gray, of North Carolina; two cousins: William Gray of Carroll County and Robert Gray of Texas; his former wife Linda Gray, of Pasadena; and his three best friends: Barbie, of Pasadena, Butch and Marty McCarthy, of the Eastern Shore.
Friends are invited to pay their respects on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM at the funeral home. His procession will then leave for Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville, where his service, with military honors, will take place at 2:30 PM.
