Mary Margaret Hughes, "Mickie" age 56, a resident of Pasadena for 45 years, and previously of Severna Park, died on June 26, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
She was born on September 17, 1955, in Baltimore, to the late Marian M. and Arthur J. Nugent. A graduate of Towson State College, she received her degree and RN certification, working as a critical care nurse for many years. She was a member of SPCA and the ASPCA, and loved rescuing dogs, reading, travelling, the beach, comfy PJ’s and nightgowns, political commentary, good food and good company, and laughing.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 4 years (together for 12): Jason Hughes; her son Benjamin Davis; daughter Lily Davis and her fiancée David Hook and son Tucker; two stepsons: Jordan and Nathan Hughes, all of Pasadena; two sisters: Sandra Kilian and her husband Doug, and Teresa Sapp and her husband Cecil, all of Deltona, Florida; her sister in law Jennifer Richardson, of Gloucester, Virginia; her mother and father in law Elsie and Rayborn Hughes, of Linthicum; two nephews: Doug and Derrick Kilian, and neice Madeline Sapp; her aunt and uncle Margaret and Frank Clarke; cousins Sara and Ann Clarke; and her doggies: Charles, Phoebe, Buster, Tony, Waldo, and Gus.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Saturday from 2 to 3 PM, at which time the memorial service will begin.
