Dear Hube family:
How sad to hear, after only recently learning he had a heart attack, that Padre took a turn for the worse. We at least know with no doubt that he is with his Lord and Savior, who is slapping him on the back for all the good things he did while bound to Earth. We at St. Andrew's have always had him in our prayers and we know it was reciprocated.
With deepest sympathies,
Elyzabeth Marcussen

Very fond memories of "Hube" working at the Severna Park Racquette and Nautilus club. He was a one of a kind true character that could make anyone laugh. A unquie personality and was always true to what he believed. Would of loved to of seen my friend before he passed.

Wayne,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Larry's mega-watt smile, sense of humor and his zest for life are my memories of him. I still remember Larry "holding court" in the old Sears coffee shop, regaling salesclerks and store managers with his jokes and stories. You could be having the toughest day, and along would come Larry with that sunny smile of his!!!
Izzy sends you a hug, too!!!

To the Hube Family... Im really sorry for your loss. I grew up across the street from Zook in High Point. I really wish I knew he wasnt doing good. I have been calling his phone with no answer. Im really gonna miss Lawrence/Zook. I remember ever since I was very young Lawrence always gave me and my friend Neil a giant bucket of candy for halloween for years. And us High Point kids who they all know who they are really helped Zook fix up his apartment. I miss the Spooker Nights every friday in the front yard with the 12" tv lol. Our Trips to the China Buffet and Tipity Top This Pizza (Top this Pizza). Anytime I had a problem I could always talk to zook weather I was upset or angry about something he could always calm me down. When his health started to decline the past few years it was never to much for me to fix zooks car or give him a helping hand. I love you alot Zook and for a change Im actually gonna pray brother. You were really someone special and the peoples lives that you touched, you will never be forgotten. SteveO, Neilski and I are hitting up the Old China Buffet in your memory and having a spooker night just for you.

I just wanted to say, Hube was a great guy. As you know he was very original. I worked with Hube at the Severn Park Raquetball Club. Those were really some fun days. Hube of coarse had something to do with that. He really kept us on our toes with his humor. One of my favorite memories of Hube. We were teeing of on a golf coarse. It was early morning and very fogging. We both hit our tee shots. I went left. He went right. After I hit my second shot. I heard Hube screaming and yelling in pain. I was trying to find him in the fog. When I did, he was on the ground in pain. His knee had popped out. He asked me to put it back in. I some how did. He as fine after that. Of coarse he was limping around all day, but he said he was fine. Of coarse we were laughing all day long. You could always gurantee Hube would put a smile on your face, no matter the situation. I have not seen Hube in probably 10-12 years. Last time I saw him, he was at Texas Roadhouse. Time always changes people in some ways. But Hube was just as I rememberd him 15 years earlier. Always trying to be cheerful. And making this world a better place. People like Hube, will always be missed. Good Bless.

Doug was a childhood friend with a kind heart and a warm smile. No matter how much time passed, he was truly glad to see me and his concern for how my life was going was always sincere. He was the epitome of the word "Christian" and was a walking example of the person we all should be. Rest in peace my friend. To your family, my condolences.

Our prayers are with you, Denny, Bev, Wayne, and Paul. Many childhood memories with Ole Dougie. We hung around as young kids growing up in the beach. Dougie was a great kid, always making us laugh and a great intellect with a lot of wit. How many games of baseball and football did we play on, what we in the beach called, "Hubie''s Field"? I will miss you, Dear Friend. We did cross paths only one time after leaving High School about 10 years ago. Too bad all the "Old Beach Gang" couldn''t get together while you were still here. We were really close as kids. Godspeed, Dougie.

Larry or Doug as we called him was one of my best friends growing up in Riveria Beach and was my best man when I was married. What a character!! I still tell stories about him. I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to Dennis, Wayne, Paul and Beverly for their loss. I had not seen Larry for many years but I often thought of him and it was always with fondness. What Gary Mewshaw wrote was very true. We had a great time as kids with some really great guys (inlcluding Larry) we were really blessed.

Just heard about the passing of one of my best buddies growing up in Riviera Beach. I hadn't seen him since we were teenagers bombing around in my '65 Dodge Dart going to dances, playing baseball and basketball and just being part of the gang hanging out together down the beach. I was shocked to hear the news and wish our paths had crossed again. My condolences go out to his family and friends.
