Bella Jane Blackiston, 34 months old, who lived with her parents in Denton, Maryland, died on April 2, 2012 at her home.
She was born on May 21, 2009, in Easton, to her parents Ryan and Kelly (Riedy) Blackiston. She loved music, “playing the guitar”, climbing, swimming, going down the slide at the park, answering the phone, and riding her dogs - Drake, Layla, and Pup.
She is loved by her grandparents: Barbara and Larry Blackiston, and Mike and the late Jane Riedy; her aunt Katie and uncle Bryan; and her cousin BJ.
Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena on Saturday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM in St. Jane Frances Church, Riviera Beach. Her burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Dearest Grieving family, we are so sorry for your loss, our prayers will be that God gives you more Grace as you morn this tragic loss of your little Bella. God knows the day we are to born and the day He chooses to bring us home to live again, with Him in the Kingdom of God. May this be the day that you find your hearts lifted and know that God is with you in the hard times and the good. We may never understand the mind of God, but we can be comforted in knowing that He knows our minds, hearts and souls, and wants us to be drawn closer to Him. Take Joy in knowing, that there are many Christians who walk down this same path you will travel, reach out to the ones who will pray for you and listen when you need to just talk about her, to comfort you with God''s love, kindness. I pray all your needs will be met now and forever, I pray those who would judge you or condemn you will bind their tonges and think before they speak. I pray that you will cry out to Jesus who will hear your prayers, and take them straight to God.
Isaiah 57: 1. The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in the arms of Jesus.

Dear Kelly & Ryan - Words cannot express the deepest sympathy for your loss. Kelly - I was fortunate to meet you and Bella in October of 2010. While spending little time with you, it was absolutely apparent how much your little girl meant to you!!! Please believe that she is with God and he will take care of her!
