Kathleen Grace Kazmerski, (nee Burk) age 90, a resident of Pasadena for 65 years, died of natural causes on January 10, 2012, at the Tate Hospice House after a two month illness.
She was born on April 19, 1921, in Petroleum, West Virginia, to the late Gertrude and Charles Burk. She attended the DeSales Heights Academy in Parkersburg, WV, then went to work in Washington, where she met her husband while he was in the service, and moved to Maryland. She became a homemaker who loved cooking, baking, and crafts.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years: John Kazmerski; her daughter Kathy Cavanaugh and her husband Joe, of Pasadena; her son Michael Kazmerski and his wife Margaret, of Oviedo, FL; her granddaughter Caitlin Kazmerski, of Oviedo, FL; her grandson Shane Cavanaugh, of Pasadena; her grandson Sam Cavanaugh, of Cape Coral, FL; and six great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Jane Frances Church, with Father John Kelly officiating. The procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 AM.
